Art Gallery Poetica Delicate Duet purse

I made another purse! I know, how many purses can one person own!! What can I say, I love purses!! And the Art Gallery Poetica Delicate Duet line of fabric is also one of my favourites so I knew I had to turn it into a purse.

Another quilt - finished!

I was very excited to have finished my second quilt for 2012 last night. This one came together really quickly which was a good thing because it is for a raffle that is being held for the Loonies for Lindor crop this June.

This quilt was made using a Moda Jelly roll from the Hoopla collection.

So, it started like this:

And you end up with a quilt that looks like this:

For now it is all folded up waiting for the lucky winner in June!

Grocery bag

I ordered the pattern for a grocery bag from Keyka Lou patterns and made the one for the large grocery bag.
I used the Riley Blake Sugar and Spice collection for this bag.
It came together in no time at all!! I loved how the colours worked together!

Aprons

I have been busy over the past few days making aprons.

I am making these for my friend Dianne's crop that is taking place in June. Check out her blog at http://looniesforlindor.blogspot.ca/ .

I made three different styles that will be raffled off at the crop:

Can't wait for the crop in June!!

Amethyst Challenge #9

I have finished my layout for Scrapbook Steals weekly challenge. For this challenge I used Simple Stories 100 Days of Summer collection. I have to say that I love the Simple Stories line!! I have a few of the other ones and can't wait to work with them! They are so my style.

Here is the layout: Little Red Riding Hood

I used my Silhouette for a few of the elements on the page. I love my Silhouette!!

Stick people family

When I purchased the Silhouette Cameo the first thing my daughter wanted to do was make the stick people family to go on the back window of the car. So we went in and found a grampy, a grammy, me, her and the two cats. It was so simple to make. We will be putting them on the new golf cart too!!

Bo Bunny layouts

At Scrapfest this weekend I purchased three grab bags of Bo Bunny product for just $12!! That works out to $4 per bag. I ended up making two pages layouts from two of the grab bags.

Layout 1

Layout 2

And there was stuff leftover to make at least one more one page layout from each grab bag. That worked out to be an awesome deal!!

Challenge #8 - Scrapbook steals

I finished my layout for Amethyst #8 challenge at Scrapbook Steals. For this layout I used the My Mind's Eye Follow your Heart collection.

This picture was taken when we rented a cottage at Sauble Beach. We went out to play in the field and there were all these butterflies in the trees. It was so incredible to see!!

Sketch Challenge at Scrapbook Steals

There were two sketches in this weeks challenge at Scrapbook Steals this week. I love when they do that because it makes me do more!!
For these two layouts I used my Silhouette for a bunch of the elements and must say - I love it!! You can find whatever you need to make the layout complete!!

Layout #1 Easter baskets

How cute is the bunny!!! I made that with the Silhouette.

Layout # 2 - Sweet Memories

The flower and title were made with the Silhouette too!!

I love when it all comes together!!

Riley Blake Apron

When I was making my new place mats I decided I would make an apron to be all ready to make Easter dinner.
I had this template from Riley Blake to make the apron. I just needed to cut out the pieces and sew them together. Easy!!

Call me old fashion but I love aprons!!
