This week I didn't get much scrapping done now that the nice weather has finally arrived! I was able to get this weeks sketch challenge done over at ScrapMuch?
The first part was to use the sketch provided at the GrandDiva's Creative Corner.
The other parts of the Scrappy Friends Challenge were this: Rochelle Spears: Used (3) of the Playroom Rules in my journaling- For my layout I used the word that was my title - Have Fun
Scrappin' Happy: Star, Layering, Stamp- I used Stars, layering and the stamp was Loving Nature
Kristi B~ Logo from product packaging (Lego) - I used the packaging from the gems of the My Mind's Eye Kraft Funday. It is the yellow lined paper on the right side of the layout just under the title.
This was such a fun challenge because there were lots of things to incorporate. Can't wait to play again!
With my Silhouette I find it very easy to make theme type cards. So, with today being Mother's Day I looked to see what I could cut from the Silhouette.
Sara over at Sew Sweetness asked me if I would test a pattern for her. I love bags so was happy to try out this pattern! For this bag I used Timeless Treasures Washi Tape fabric. Love how it turned out!
This week the challenge over at Sassy Cheryl was April Showers.
I have had enough of April Showers I must admit. We have had a lot of rain her so I am so looking forward to the May Flowers that all that rain will have help create!!
I was able to complete three challenges that were posted over at Scrapbook Generations this weekend in honour of National Scrapbook Day.
The third challenge was to do a one page layout using one of the Scrapbook Generations sketches. That was easy for me because I have all their sketch books as well as receiving their Super Sketch Club monthly kits! They are awesome!!
The layout I did was utilizing the sketch from one of the layout from the October Super Sketch club kit layout. I used the Simple Stories Vintage Bliss line for this layout.
The second challenge over at Scrapbook Generations was a Project Life Challenge. The challenge was to use Project Life type subjects and material on a traditional layout. I love the Project Life concept and find that the Simple Stories lines work really well for it.
This weekend at Scrapbook Generations they had a number of challenges in honour of National Scrapbooking day. I decided to play along and was able to complete three of the challenges.
The first challenge was using Stars on a layout. For this challenge I decide to use chipboard. I inked the chipboard to go with the colours on my layout.
With the incredible weather we had this weekend Tee Time will be right around the corner!
