Locked and loaded bag pattern test

I was fortunate enough to be able to test another pattern for Sew Sweetness. This pattern is called Locked and Loaded because of the twist lock called for in the pattern. I ordered a twist lock but it had not arrived so I improvised and used a magnetic snap instead. I also added a button as I thought it added to the bag.

This is a great bag for a beginner. The directions are easy to follow and you will have the bag completed in no time at all. I would highly recommend purchasing this pattern if you want to try sewing a nice roomy bag!

I used Riley Blake's Daydream fabric by Cyndi Walker.

There is a nice big pocket on the inside.

I started working on another bag tonight that I can't wait to show you! Stay tuned!

  1. Now see. . . .this makes me wish I still had my sewing machine Corrina! What a beautiful bag! I love the inside almost as much as the outside. I don't know about beginners though. . . . .at least not for me. LOL
    It's lovely!
Thanks for playing along in the Sassy Cheryl's SMThursday fun this week.
